THREE RIVERS, Que., Oct. 19. – Dynamite Gus Sonnenberg, former world heavyweight wrestling champion, defeated Al Mercier of Ware, Mass., in two straight falls in the feature match of a wrestling show here last night.
The bounding Bostonian leveled Mercier twice with the dreaded flying tackle, taking so much out of him in the first fall that it took only four minutes to send Mercier toppling again for the deciding fall.
