In addition to the “Great American Bash” stops (including Daytona Beach on Sunday) by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), the WWF returns to Florida with a July 11 show at Tampa’s Sun Dome. Former Olympic weightlifter Ken Patera will top the card against Hercules Hernandez. Other familiar names on the card are George “The Animal” Steele; Rick Rude; The Dingo Warrior; and Chavo Guerrero.

The Central Texas Chapter of AUSA is sponsoring world class professional wrestling, 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at Prichard Stadium. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the gate and can be purchased at Fiddlers Green Recreation Center. The feature match will pit Lance Von Erich vs. Dingo from Queens. The Texas Chapter of the Association of the United States Army will sponsor a world class wrestling presentation, to include Dingo, Lance Von Erich, Matt Borne and Buzz Sawyer. There will be a total of five meets 7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Abrams Physical Fitness Center. Tickets purchased at the gate will be $7.

World class wrestlers, including Dingo Warrior, Lance Von Erich, Steve Simpson and Scott Casey, will be featured 2 p.m. March 15 at the Copperas Cove High School Gym.
