Rod Fenton Pins The Italian Count

That canny Canadian, Rod Fenton proved his mastery here at the Arena last night in winning a main event bout over Count Antonio Marino, the swarthy Italian.

Fenton took the third and deciding fall in the match in which Marino substituted for Red Shadow who has an injured shoulder.

Fenton took the first fall in 15 minutes with a body smother.  The Count came back to grab the next one in 10 minutes with an arm bar.  Fenton finished off Marino and the match with a body smother in 11 minutes.

In the opener Joe Dorsetti, subbing for Frankie Hill, and Art Belcher, pinch-hitting for Count Marino, wrestled to a draw.

Soldier Thomas and Dizzy Davis grappled to a draw in the semi-final of 30 minutes.
