The Pittsburgh Press – January 14, 1936

Sid Westrich of New York has been substituted in the opening bout of the wrestling show Thursday night at the North Side Arena, and will appear against Joe Tonti of Midland in a 15-minute time limit match.

Tonti was to have opposed Pete Peterson, recent importation from Sweden, but the Scandinavian was advanced to the second bout, a 30-minute affair with Sandor Vary, Hungary’s European champion.
