Bonnie Wrestles Sylvia Torres

Bonnie Watson proved to be the champion of the girl wrestlers Monday night at the American Legion Coliseum.  She and Sylvia Torres were the last two eliminated in a wrestle royal.

Miss Watson took the measure of Miss Torres in a one-fall 20-minute match.  Ella Waldek was the first girl out.  She was followed by Judy Glover and Pat Lyda.  In a one-fall event, Miss Lyda and Miss Glover fought to a draw.

Billy Parks took two out of three falls from Mike Dibiase in the semifinal tussle.  In the opener, Prince Maiava took a pair of falls, and a victory from Jack Vanskey.
