The West Australian – November 28, 1928
Sam Burmister and Sox McKenna are in hard condition for their eight ten-minute rounds wrestling contest at the King’s Theatre, Fremantle to-night. Burmister, who is always a draw-card because of his vigorous methods, will face a man bigger, and probably as strong, as himself. Science and strategy will be called upon by both men, who are relying on the outcome of to-night’s contest for further matches.
Bill Fraser and Bluey Miller, vigorous welter-weights, will meet in the principal boxing contest. Ten rounds of boxing will be staged. Box plans are at George Fletcher’s Fremantle.
