Togo, Brother Beat Mat Foes

The Great Togo, Japanese strongman, defeated Ivan Rasputin, Russian wild man, in the main event of a professional wrestling card Tuesday night in Memorial coliseum.

Togo threw Rasputin the first time in 5 minutes, 40 seconds.  The Russian came back to win in 11:55, but Togo had the last fall in 17:25.

Gentleman Jim Doble outlasted cruel Karl Gray in two of three tumbles in the semifinal.  Doble won in 18:42 and 39:55, and Gray took his fall in 26:13.

Mas Togo, billed as the younger brother of The Great Togo, also was a winner.  He tossed Jerry Meeker in 8:53 in a one-fall bout that led off the show.
