Ottawa Citizen – February 13, 1954
Sakata Togo, full brother of The Great Togo, will make his eastern Canada debut at the Auditorium Tuesday night when he meets Bobby Nelson, speedy St. Louis grappler, in one of the bouts preceding the main attraction between Bobby Managoff and The Great Togo.
Sakata is said to be identical with his brother in looks, weight and method, and one of the reasons for emigrating to this country is to team up with The Great One in a brother act.
The more famous Togo feels that a Japanese brother act would be a great box-office attraction and it would be the first of its kind on the North American continent.
The names of the midget grapplers to wrestle on Tuesday’s card have been released and Little Beaver, French-Canadian midget, teams up with Fuzzy Cupid against the Mighty Schultz and Otto Kreuger.
Managoff is training in Montreal for his match with The Great Togo and is confident of a victory over the wily Jap.
