Lord Albert Mills abandoned his rowdy ways last night – but as usual he came up the winner in the main event of promoter Hat Freeman’s wrestling card at the Temple arena.
Opponent Jerry Meeker evidently made one big error. He won too many matches and gained a shot at Mills. The Lord was in no mood to allow some other grappler to take away his “title” as local kingpin.
In the preliminary bouts, Leo Newman took two of three falls from Francois Miquet and Stu Hart grabbed the one-fall opener from Felix Kohkne.
