Blassie and the masked demolisher clash in the main event for Blassie’s world heavyweight mat crown.
Wright meets former San Francisco 49’er gridder Art (Boom Boom) Mahalik in the special event. The giant Negro master is rated as a combination of Ricki Starr and Edouard Carpentier as to style and ability.
Wilbur Snyder, former Utah football player, returns after a lengthy absence to grapple Bobby Duranton of France in another top match.
A tag team tussle finds Don Manoukian and Don Duffey paired against Red Bastien and Chief Kit Fox. In other bouts, Don Leo Jonathan opposes Mr. Moto; Dick Hutton tiffs Enrique Torres and Tex McKenzie vies with Gene LeBell.
There will be no television and this star-studded show gets underway at 8 p.m.
