Steve Casey Whips George Koverly

SAN FRANCISCO, July 26. – Before 3000 fans, the best house in weeks, Steve (Crusher) Casey took two straight falls from George Koverly in the main event on the civic auditorium wrestling card last night.  Casey won the first after eight minutes, 20 seconds, when Koverly was disqualified for roughness.  He pinned his opponent to end the match after 10:01 minutes more of rough tactics.

The semi-final went to Sandor Szabo in 8:20 with his famous back drop over Jack Smith.  Bill Hanson drop-kicked Sgt. Chief Little Wolf out of action in 18:10 and, in the curtain raiser, Big Ben Morgan and Kay Bell went 20 minutes to a draw.
